Number One: Prevent water loss
First (And this is so important that when truly done correctly, Number Two becomes almost unnecessary.) The reason we need Number Two is we don’t take Number One seriously.
Number One is to prevent dehydration by:
• Reducing protein intake (both animal & plant) because protein burns “dirty” and the waste products take a very large amount of water to remove them from the body.
• Eat more fruits and vegetables because they are 99% water.
• Eat mostly complex carbohydrates (fruits, vegetables, and whole grains) because they carry water into the cells.
Number Two is to drink and everything counts:
• water counts
• all coffees count
• skim milk counts
• all sugar-free soda pop counts
