We are in the middle of the holiday season. If you are feeling your resolve to stay healthy during the holidays this year is getting pressured, RELAX, RE-GROUP, and REMEMBER that a positive (Just Do It!) approach is always easier and usually more successful.

HOW?

Use the wellness “short list”. Look forward. Avoid looking back, but be ready to pat yourself on the back.

Wellness Short List (two items)

* Every day book-off (specifically set aside) 30 minutes of something aerobic such as walking, biking, running, dancing, etc. (Dancing at a holiday party does not count unless a cheerful leader with tights and a microphone is used to keep you moving.)

* Every morning have a bowl of cereal (sugar content at 5 grams or lower) with no-fat (skim) milk. A piece of fresh fruit (not juice) is optional, but the cereal is a must.

Remember: If you have slipped a little, start tomorrow with a clean slate.
